Anxiety

Teach the alarm it can stand down. A slower nervous system, one sitting at a time.

A rest and hypnosis practice for ordinary anxiety. This is not medical advice.

How it works

Twenty-one unique hypnotic sittings. Each one is a different suggestion laid over a binaural pulse chosen for anxiety — mostly 5.5 to 8 Hz, the theta–alpha border where the body can unclench without dropping into sleep.

Headphones. Dim the room. Sit or lie down. You can sit the days in order, or open whichever title meets the day you are having.

The voice is optional. Turn it off and the beats still run. Turn it on for a slow guided hypnosis: induction, then the day's work, then quiet.

Stay for the whole sitting if you can. If the alarm spikes, open the eyes, put both feet on the floor, and name five things you can see. You can return later.

Care

This is not medical advice. These sittings are for rest and practice only. They do not diagnose or treat anxiety.

Do not use them while driving or where you must stay alert.

If the alarm spikes, open the eyes, put both feet on the floor, and name five things you can see. You can return later.
